For the sake of your sex life, let us exchange your 50 Shades of Grey ticket.

We want to make it easy for you to change your mind about seeing 50 Shades of Grey. So much so that we are offering to exchange your pre-booked ticket for a free movie ticket!

Why?

We believe that if you enjoy sex, or if at some point in the future you’d like to enjoy it, one of the worst things you can do is see 50 Shades of Grey.

Leading sexologist, Dr Patricia Weerakoon agrees.

“This movie will mess up your brain,” she says. “If your desire becomes conditioned by porn, and that’s what turns you on, normal sex with a normal person isn’t going to do it for you. There’s no question this film is pornography, just as the book before it. It is fantasy sex.”

For people considering watching the movie as a couple Dr Weerakoon says, “I think people should ask themselves, is this honouring our relationship? Is it honouring my partner? I fail to see how whipping my partner, or bruising my partner, or putting handcuffs on my partner and tying him or her to the bedpost, is in anyway honouring my partner, or my body.”

“This movie is a perverted fantasy. If you watch it, it will negatively affect your sex life,” Dr Weerakoon concludes.

Jesus is pro marriage, pro sex and pro life to the full! That’s three things 50 Shades of Grey isn’t! In fact, we are so sure 50 Shades of Grey isn’t good for you, we would love to exchange your pre-purchased ticket for a movie voucher.

We will exchange the first 100 tickets, but we want to put a challenge out to other organisations to join us!  Save our marriages, save our sexuality, save women from this cruelty. We dare you!

Send your unused cinema issued ticket dated any day in Feb 2015 to Auckland Evangelical Church, P.O Box 41066, St Lukes, Auckland, 1346, and we will send you a voucher for another movie.

For Jesus Sake!
