Refresh is back this year!
We are so excited you’ve decided to come and be part of Refresh Women’s Conference 2018!
This year Heather Moot will be speaking to us from the book of Ruth, where we’ll discover and delight in God’s kindness to his people. It will be a great day of learning from God’s word, being encouraged by our fellow sisters in Christ and connecting with each other.
Registrations will close on 14 September 2018, so it would be great if you could register by this date. On the day, we’ll begin the first session at 10am, so please be prompt in arriving – we wouldn’t want you to miss out! Lunch and Afternoon tea will also be provided on the day.
The day will then conclude at 5pm, where we’ll have an opportunity to gather with a smaller group of women and head out to a local restaurant or cafe for dinner together. There are plenty of choices along Balmoral Road. If you are already part of a connect group it would be great to discuss ideas about where to go before the day!
Looking forward to what God has to say through the book of Ruth!

Heather MootHeather has lived in Auckland for four years. She has also lived in the Hawke’s Bay, Christchurch and the UK. She became a Christian when she was 8 years old but felt she really grew as a Christian in her mid-twenties when attending an evangelical (or a Bible teaching) church for the first time and studied John’s gospel. Whilst living in London in her late twenties she attended Cornhill Bible College part time for two years. She then returned to New Zealand and worked for a church in women’s ministry for two years and met and married Andrew. They have three children, Olivia 10, Reuben 8, and Patrick 5. Heather is passionate about evangelism although she finds it very hard! She loves spending time with church family and in hospitality. With her family she enjoys holidays, beach walks, bike rides and finding new cafes. She also enjoys playing tennis, skiing and coaching Reuben’s year 4 basketball team.
